It was an auspicious occasion commemorating AmeriSciences’ nine years of success as a pioneering company of both opportunity and science that attracted distributors and guests from all over the world to the 9th Annual Gala and Conference— held January 20-23, 2010 at the luxurious Omni Hotel in Houston.

The event began on Wednesday with a very productive workshop, where distributors had the chance to gain valuable insights towards improving their business. Thursday the event continued with an informative Product Certification seminar led by Carlos Montesinos, AmeriSciences’ director of product development and quality assurance. The seminar offered a detailed and comprehensive overview of the entire AmeriSciences product line, including important information about key ingredients in each product and its recommended usage. Attendees also received the latest news regarding the state of the nutritional supplement industry, an overview of FDA regulations for label claims, and lessons on the dos and don’ts of retailing AmeriSciences products.

The first of the two-day general training sessions kicked-off Friday morning with conference attendees congregating at the Omni Hotel for their introduction to AmeriSciences and to learn valuable business-building techniques directly from the company’s co-founders Barry Cocheu and Lou Gallardo. Attendees also received tips, advice and useful product information through enlightening and entertaining presentations from several of the company’s most prominent distributors. The high point of each day’s sessions were the presentations by keynote speaker Dr. Lair Ribeiro, a particularly dynamic speaker with an unyielding commitment to make a difference in the lives of those who seek his professional advice. Dr. Rabeiro’s talks on anti-aging and the power of changing attitudes and nutrition inspired the audience to an enthusiastic response. Among the other highlights of the general sessions were presentations by Dr. Ed Paul on TOZAL Eye Health Formula and the link between eye health and nutritional supplements, and by Dr. Marwan Sabbagh, Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board.

An additional bonus at this year’s Gala and Conference was the announcement of two new product launches: AmeriSciences’ new Oral Wellness Rx was designed as a line of dental related products that would be the best on the market, backed by AmeriSciences’ nutritional expertise; and AS10 Fusion, AmeriSciences’ much-awaited new member of the AS10 product family, and one of the world’s healthiest energy shots. Announcements were also made at the event concerning our latest international expansion into the UK and Mexico, and new opportunities in the Luxury Incentive program.

Beyond the training sessions and presentations, the event provided the perfect opportunity for fellowship and business networking with AmeriSciences distributors and people from all over the world, including a personalized tour of the AmeriScience corporate office, followed by a champagne reception. Conference attendees were able to see firsthand how the AmeriSciences opportunity works for them— and the commitment that AmeriSciences has in its infrastructure not only for the present, but “for distributor’s businesses for generations to come.”.

The week’s festivities concluded Saturday night with the Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner at the prestigious Royal Oaks Country Club to celebrate AmeriSciences’ 9th anniversary. The best of AmeriSciences gathered to recognize Tom Lobue as the company’s Top Producer, and to celebrate his award of both a vacation stay at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas and a Greek Isles cruise aboard Regent Cruise lines. Top Earners Jeff and Lisa Giammalva received a new Jaguar XF as their prize. Honors were also given to this year’s Rising Star, this year’s Excellence In Performance winner, and those couples and individuals who have best exemplified the winning attributes of an AmeriSciences distributor— desire, willing, teachable, persistence, determination, consistency and leadership.

“The Gala is always our biggest event of the year, and each year it keeps getting bigger and bigger.
